High Omega-3 Index reduces premature death by 13%

In a new research paper published in the journal of Nature which examined 17 prospective studies concluded that individual with a optimal range of omega-3 index had a 13% reduction of premature death - ie cuts death risk from all causes!

The Cohort study examined 42,466 individuals which they followed for 16 years in various countries includes Australia, Canada, France, Finland, Iceland, Japan, Sweden, Taiwan, UK and US.

 

These research was led by Dr William Harris, cofounder of the Omega-3 Index at The Fatty Acids and Outcomes Research Consortium (FORCE).
